We had a lovely holiday in Spain with some hot and sunny days and cool evenings sitting by the log burner.
I couldn't walk well so relied on a wheelchair (I hate that!!!)
Lots of time was spent relaxing, with a glass of wine, & stitching - I was inspired by the 'face flowers' I saw in a 'point de croix' magazine, tried to do Bullion Knots which I've not done a lot of before, and made this Garden in Stitch & Buttons postcard.
There are various threads, buttons, ribbons and a textured wool border here ...

I'm glad you had a nice trip to Spain! That's so wonderful. I absolutely LOVE your work always and this latest piece is so spring, and so gorgeous!
such exquisite work. I always find it a pleasure to stitch. It looks like you thoroughly enjoyed this time.
I went with my mother to her regional quilting day in london on saturday and was really inspired by the amazing stitched quilts her friends were making and had made. I am learning from her at the moment and can't wait to complete the little quilt I have started and I would like to hand-stitch if all if I can :)
